If you are planning to join us on our trip to Kennywood for Fright Night tomorrow (the 30th), then meet us at the bus stop in front of the UC at 7:30. We're taking the 61C. If you can't make that time then you can meet us at the park and call 917-647-4943 when you get there. (I myself will probably be late because of a class trip). We will depart from Kennywood at around midnight.
Remember - Halloween Night the party starts at 11:00, but the usual meeting starts at its usual time and place. See you there! I expect to see costumes (even thought I don't think I can afford one... T_T
And on a completely different note, this person has the right idea:

Costume Contest!

"This episode is -hilarious-. I also hope you enjoy our terrible puns (except the "well enough" one, there was the Japanese equivalent of cockney rhyming slang there and @#%$ if I can make the equivalent of that in English)."

No, we're not planning one. But Tekkoshocon is. They'll be running it through their Facebook group, and all you have to do is upload an image and hope you get lots of 'like's. Winners will receive stuff. It's probably awesome stuff, though I can't really say.
Get full details here.

Recently at one of the Pitt meetings, it was announced that they had become the Pi Tau chapter of Mu Epsilon Kappa, which has, as its mission, creating an environment for cultural exchanges of all kinds. It originally grew out of the Northstar anime club at North Texas State University. Then some things happened, etc etc, and then a fraternity happened.
So yeah. Like I said on Saturday, beware of Kappas.

When I attempt to play the video from the folder it says it can't because "qt-dx331.dll" is missing. If I open it from the player the video plays, but there's no audio. I downloaded CCCP.

I can't tell from your post--which player is actually opening when you try to play the file? Do you mean, media player classic does exactly the same thing as windows media player?
If so, then somebody with a better knowledge of windows is going to have to help. On Linux, ogg-vorbis just works :)
|
I've tried opening it in the Windows Media Player that comes with XP, the one that comes with Windows 7, and DivX (which is usually able to play everything...). I haven't tried it in Windows Media Player Classic yet.
|
Definitely try Media Player Classic. It's free, works with just about everything, and comes with its own internal codecs.
