When I attempt to play the video from the folder it says it can't because "qt-dx331.dll" is missing. If I open it from the player the video plays, but there's no audio. I downloaded CCCP.

I can't tell from your post--which player is actually opening when you try to play the file? Do you mean, media player classic does exactly the same thing as windows media player?
If so, then somebody with a better knowledge of windows is going to have to help. On Linux, ogg-vorbis just works :)

I downloaded episode 1 of Hetalia from the library but the sound doesn't work. Anyone know how to fix it, or where I can get a copy with working sound?

Sound works fine for me. It's using the Ogg-Vorbis codec for sound--one of the most open-source, free-as-in-speech codecs out there. That means Microsoft hates it. If you're using Windows Media Player out of the box, it might not support Vorbis.
Anyway, you might try a different player. Your best bet is probably the media player classic that comes with the Combined Community Codec Pack. I believe that's what Dan uses for our meetings.
And hmm...I just realized that the first few episodes of hetalia on our site are from last semester...when only the webcast was available...I should really be replacing those files with the dvd versions anyway...

Just in case the posters are all confusing, karaoke song requests can be sent to me at dpencosk@gmail.com. Jessica suggested looking up Youtube videos to find one that has your song with the karaoke lyrics already overlaid, but if you can't find one, you can just ask me to find the song and we'll put up lyrics from animelyrics.com or equivalent.
